Make Me Wanna Die

The new single, out now.

Weekend Goodbye is a poppy, punky, sad and mentally unstable garage rock quartet from Toronto.

Forming in high school, guitarist/vocalist Dylan DG, guitarist/vocalist Sebastian Balenzano, bassist Amanda Volero and newest member; drummer Brandon Herrell have been lifelong friends with an intense dedication to do music their way. Their way being blazing a trail and making a name for themselves in Toronto’s all ages-DIY scene, becoming one of the GTA’s most promising young bands in the process. While other kids their age spent their time either partying or studying, the Weekend Goodbye boys spent countless hours honing their craft, writing songs all day and playing shows every weekend. Blending elements of garage rock, surf punk, skate punk, emo, goth and pop, Weekend Goodbye has created a unique, high-energy brand of alternative rock that is as catchy and melodic as it is gritty and emotional. Listeners liken them to a mutant amalgamation of bands like Hockey Dad, The Cure, FIDLAR and Skegss. Dylan’s searing vocal delivery, Amanda’s massive overdriven bass tones, Brandon’s merciless drum beating, Sebastian’s killer guitar solos, coupled with huge sing-along hooks and engaging on-stage banter have made their live act a local favourite. From filling your neighbour’s house to absolute capacity to playing in various bars and venues across Ontario. Weekend Goodbye is your favourite local band's favourite local band.

“The three piece garage rock trio are blending pop and punk in a masterful and original new way.”

— Austin Sher (We Write About Music)
